Where have I been?

I'm not sure how to feel about this because I haven't actually received any inquiries regarding my whereabouts. I hope this means I was missed quietly. If anyone is/was concerned, I'm in one piece. It's just wild times in the Amy-verse.

Kori Cioca, US Coast Guard, looks out her window, from THE INVISIBLE WAR, a Cinedigm/Docurama Films release.
In honor of our veterans who have survived sexual assault in the military, Kean University and Union County College co-hosted a screening and panel discussion of The Invisible War, a documentary directed by Kirby Dick. If you have not seen this movie, I can't even begin to tell you how important it is to see it. The interviews are incredibly powerful and this is an issue that is too big to ignore. Sexual assault in our country in general is a huge issue, but it's even more repugnant that these men and women are risking their lives overseas and have to worry about being attacked by one of their own.

I hope to be back with even more fabulous reviews after the Thanksgiving hoopla, if not sooner. Stay tuned.
